Jon Huddleston from #MTSU's Concrete Industry Management program recently visited #CommunityHighSchool's JAGTN class, led by Instructor Monica Lewis. He shared fascinating insights about the different types of concrete and the wide range of careers connected to concrete management—from engineering and marketing to even working on NASA projects, like designing a lunar landing pad!
#Students also learned about the many scholarship opportunities available through MTSU’s program. To make the visit even more interactive, Mr. Huddleston gave each #student a yo-yo, showing the value of hands-on activities and encouraging students to engage with one another.
It was a fun and inspiring experience, showing that concrete isn’t just about building—it’s about building a future full of possibilities! 🚀

Honoring Ed Gray - a Legacy of Learning and Leadership
Today, we remember and honor the life of Mr. Ed Gray, a remarkable educator and leader who dedicated more than 45 years to education, including Bedford County Schools. From teacher to principal, supervisor, assistant superintendent, and finally superintendent, he devoted his entire career to nurturing students, supporting educators and strengthening our community.
Education wasn’t just his profession — it was his passion and life’s calling. His commitment to excellence, compassion for others, and vision for the future of our schools left an enduring mark on countless lives. Though he retired in 2011, his influence continues to be felt by many because of his leadership.
Rest in peace, Mr. Gray, and thank you for your lifetime of service and dedication.

Judged by CTE Supervisor Lori Sexton, Principal Dr. Ralston, Assistant Principal Dr. Bowling, Dean of Students Coach Tyre and Graduation Coach Mrs. Lemmons, #students presented their chosen health careers, sharing required #education, salary expectations and what inspired them to pursue the field.
