✨ Sometimes the sweetest moments happen when you least expect them! 💕 While Rita Bates was hard at work cleaning the windows at #EakinElementarySchool🏫 today, she had an extra special visitor wander over to see what was happening—a curious little fawn 🦌💛.
The two shared a quiet moment together 🌿🤍 that reminded us all how wonderful it is to pause and notice the simple joys around us. From classrooms full of learning 📚✨ to unexpected wildlife friends 🐾, our schools are always full of surprises that make us smile 😊🌟.
Here’s to finding beauty in the little things, wherever we are. 🦌💫🌸

Recently, #CascadeHighSchool #FCCLA members rolled up their sleeves to make a difference! 💪❤️ Together with the nonprofit Sleep in Heavenly Peace, they spent Saturday morning building beds for local children who don’t have one of their own.
These beds mean more than just a good night’s sleep—they bring comfort, security and dignity to kids right here in our community. 🛏️💤
As Sleep in Heavenly peace reminds us: “No kid sleeps on the floor in our town!” And thanks to the hard work of our amazing #students, more children will now have a safe place to rest their heads. 🌟
We are so proud of these FCCLA members for living out the values of service, leadership and compassion. What an incredible way to give back!💕🫶

🕯❤️Honoring 9/11: A Day of Remembrance🕯❤️
Today, #CommunityHighSchool came together in a powerful tribute to remember the events of September 11, 2001.
Students and staff gathered in the auditorium for a moving program that included:
✨ A guest speaker who shared first-hand experiences from that tragic day
📖 History Club students presenting key moments in remembrance
As the program concluded, #students were given American flags, each one representing a life lost. Together, they placed the flags on the front lawn, creating a field of remembrance for all of the victims.
Following a brief invocation at the flagpole 🙏, the school community returned inside—carrying with them the memory, respect and unity that 9/11 represents. ❤️🤍💙
We are grateful to everyone who took part in honoring this day and ensuring its significance lives on through #education, remembrance and reflection. 🌟

🌟 Student Voices in Action! 🌟
Yesterday, the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council visited the Central Office to share their perspectives directly with Dr. Tammy Garrett, Superintendent, Mr. Tim Harwell, Assistant Superintendent, and Carol Garrette, Director of Communications.
This incredible #student group advocates for their peers, provides insight on district issues and helps shape solutions to challenges in Bedford County Schools. Their input ensures that #student voices are at the heart of our decisions. 💬✨
We are #BedfordProud to see our students taking such an active role in shaping the future of their schools!
