Thankful for the Kindness That Warms Our Students and Our Community🧥

Our community came together once again for the 3rd Annual Coat Drive hosted by New Vision Baptist Church, and thanks to your generosity, dozens of #students across #BedfordCountySchools will stay warm this winter. This year, an incredible 107 new coats—along with many more gently used ones—were donated to help keep kids cozy through the cold months. ❄️🧤

We want to send a special #ThankYou to New Vision Baptist Church and #CommunityHighSchool alumna Haley Mitchell for leading this heartwarming effort and inspiring others to give back.❤️Thank you to our maintenance team for pickup and delivery!

We are so grateful for the kindness, compassion and community spirit that make a difference every single year.

Yesterday, during the branding reveal each student and staff member was given a t-shirt with the new school logo on it.

This was made possible by generous support from:
Modern Electrical Contracting
Sew Sudberry
Michael Hix- Auctioneer/Realtor
First Commerce Bank.

We want to extend our thanks and deepest gratitude to these sponsors for making this gift to students and staff possible. It truly could not have happened without them. We hope you will support the people and businesses in our community that support our school and students. Enjoy a few wordmarks we didn't share yesterday.

"We'll always be purple and gold...and we'll always be Vikings and Viqueens. That will never change"..--Dr. Robert Ralston

The school revealed new branding and logos to students and staff today at a special assembly. The logos many of us know and love have never actually belonged to us. They've gone through many adaptations and versions but we were always at risk of being told we couldn't use them. A process that has reared it's ugly head at other schools, even here in Middle Tennessee.

This prompted Dr. Ralston and a team of staff to undergo a months long rebranding process that dates all the way back to last spring. Today the fruits of that project are now ready! There is a lot of branding that was made and revealed that isn't in this post. Please be on the lookout on the website and on campus for all the new things that you may see. The good thing about this logo is that it's ours and ours alone. No one can tell us we can't use it, not even after we've celebrate 200 years of Community greatness. We hope you enjoy the new look!

💼👮‍♂️Real-World Lessons in Criminal Justice!👮‍♂️💼

The Criminal Justice III students at #CommunityHighSchool, led by Instructor Chris Hobbs, recently visited Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary for an unforgettable learning experience. 🚌🏛️ During the trip, #students gained valuable insight into the realities of incarceration and the lasting impact of poor choices. 🚔 They also explored the duties, challenges and responsibilities of working as a correctional officer — connecting classroom lessons with real-world application. 💼👮‍♂️

This hands-on experience gave students a deeper understanding of both sides of the criminal justice system and the importance of integrity, accountability and wise decision-making.💡🔒
