Mr. Brown

I am an alumnus from the Class of 2007 here at CHS. I completed my Bachelor's Degree of Arts in English at Middle Tennessee State University in 2011. I started my teaching career at Liberty School. After two years, I accepted a position at Community High School teaching freshmen English. I taught 9th-grade English for eight years before moving into teaching 12th-grade English. I taught Senior English and served as the yearbook adviser and graduation coordinator for two years. I completed my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in 2023 from Austin Peay State University.

 

I am very excited about transitioning into the role of Dean of Students. I plan to maintain the role of yearbook adviser because I truly enjoy it. Simply put: my blood runs purple and gold. I am more than happy to do whatever is necessary to help our students and our school. My wife teaches kindergarten at Community Elementary, and it makes me so happy knowing that both of my children will be 13-year students here at Community!
