2022 SUMMER SCHOOL
The Bedford County School System offers a 9-12 summer school program beginning May 23 at Community High School. Summer school for students in grades 9-12 facilitates Credit Recovery through Edmentum to all students who meet the guidelines. Students must have a grade of 50 or higher to be eligible for credit recovery. Students who have on-line classes through Canvas may also attend summer school.

Summer School operates May 23 - June 16.

Summer School Dates
- Week 1: May 23-26, Monday - Thursday
- Week 2: May 31- June 3, Tuesday - Friday (Monday is Memorial Day Holiday)
- Week 3: June 6-9, Monday - Thursday
- Week 4: June 13-16, Monday - Thursday
Summer School Daily Schedule
- 7:30 Assembly meeting
- 7:45 Breakfast in cafeteria
- 8:00 Start morning session
- 9:30 to 9:45 Morning break
- 9:45 to 11:45 Finishing morning session
- 11:45 to 12:15 Lunch
- 12:15 Start afternoon session
- 1:30 to 1:35 Afternoon break
- 2:20 Reviewing and answering questions from the day
- 2:30 Afternoon dismissal
Students may choose to come 7:30 to 9:30, 9:45 to 11:45, or 12:15 to 2:30, (If you have more than one credit to recover, plan to stay more than one session)
