Selected online courses listed below are offered for initial credit through Canvas and require approval through the Bedford County Department of Education:
Agriculture Science, Algebra I, Algebra II, Anatomy, Bridge Math, Chemistry, Economics, English I, English II, English II, English IV, First Aid, Geometry, Government, Large Animal Care, Lifespan Development, Marketing, Personal Finance, Physical Science, Psychology, Small Animal Care, Sociology, Spanish I, Spanish II, U.S. History, Visual Art, Wellness, World History.
Students who lack courses necessary to meet their graduation target which do not otherwise fit into their traditional class schedule receive first priority for online courses.
Online course(s) will be purged after March 1 when students have not made adequate progress. Students will be placed into regular classes as judged appropriate by the administration. Online course(s) taken during summer school must be completed prior to the start of the next school year or students will be required to retake the course(s).
The Online/Ontrack computer lab is open at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday through Friday and after school until 4:00 Monday through Thursday.
Online/Ontrack can also be utilized remotely until the portal shuts down at 5:00 p.m.
