Rutherford County - Elementary and Middle School Counselor (2009)
Bedford County - Community High School  Counselor (2019)

I am originally from East Tennessee and am a product of the public education system.  I believe in public schools and believe in the power of education.  I am here to serve the students of Community High School. The role of the School Counselor has changed over the last two decades.  Gone are the days of only visiting the counselor for career and college information like guidance counselors of the past.  My role as a School Counselor is one of support especially in the three areas of social/emotional, academic, and career development.  Each of these areas help contribute to personal and academic growth in students as they begin to realize their full potential and become productive, contributing members of society at large.

The Internet has made it easier to get a glimpse into life at college just by using your computer. Check out ways students can take advantage of the web to research potential schools.
This dashboard may help students to navigate career opportunities, including future job openings and salary information, alongside the benchmarks for each of the top occupation openings.
